Lacey Evans
Lacey B. Evans, the Founder & CEO of Triple P’s Foundation, Inc. is a graduate from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelors’ of Science degree in Supply Chain Management. A native of Baltimore, MD Lacey has always had a passion for paying it forward by incorporating service to others in her free time.
In 2016, during her junior year of college, Lacey founded Triple P’s with a mission to serve well-deserving students by alleviating financial burden surrounding prom, building self-confidence, and exemplifying the importance of investing into our communities.
Upon returning from overseas after studying abroad, Lacey came back wanting to do more for her community by providing students like herself, the same opportunities that she had growing up. Starting Triple P’s was a culmination of ideas and experiences that led to where we are today. After speaking with friends and reflecting on her own life experiences, Lacey knew there was a need: prom necessities and scholarships for college. During her senior year of high school, her family faced a hardship that later inspired purpose. Lacey was forced to make the difficult decision of halting her athletic career so that she could work to support her senior year activities. Having gone through this, Lacey figured there were many other students like herself who have faced similar adversities and this sparked her desire to fulfill that need.
As the program continued to grow, Lacey wanted to create something even more impactful by implementing the mentoring program. Even as an adult, Lacey still benefits from having mentors and understood how important this guidance can be during the crucial transitioning periods between high school and college.
Lacey’s ultimate goal in life is to work in fulfilling her purpose while still being an inspiration and of benefit to her community. Lacey lives by the quote “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
